From compact LED grow lights to complete HPS fixtures, Greendiscounter helps you choose lighting for your plants and available space. Compare fixture layout, light distribution and controls. We also help match bulbs, reflectors and controllers to an existing setup.

Measure the growing area and clearance above your plants first. Allow room for the fixture, hanging hardware and ventilation. The highest wattage does not guarantee the best distribution.
Our LED grow lights range includes panels, compact fixtures and light bars. With HPS grow lighting, choose complete fixtures or separate bulbs, reflectors and ballasts. For central controls, explore Grow light controllers and check the exact fixture, generation and control connection.
For young plants or a low installation, look for even lighting that you can match to the crop. Set distance and intensity for the model and plant stage. Read our young plant guide for the next step.

Check overall dimensions and hanging clearance. A compact panel may fit where a wide bar fixture takes up too much space.

Start with tray size and available height. Choose suitable intensity and check distribution right out to the edges.

Check fitting, bulb type and ballast before replacing parts. SE, DE and CMH use different bulbs and holders.

Central control starts with suitable fixtures and connections. Identical plugs do not prove matching protocols.

PPF describes photon output from a source in µmol/s. PPFD describes the light arriving at a measurement plane in µmol/m²/s. Efficacy in µmol/J describes something different from distribution across your plants. Compare maps at the same height, dimming setting and measurement area. A strong central reading may come with weaker corners.
The number in a model name is not automatically the power drawn from the socket. Versions with similar names can differ too. Compare values with the same meaning and unit. For electricity calculations, check the full electrical data for the exact model, driver or ballast and chosen dimming setting.
With HPS, bulb type, power rating, fitting and ballast must work together. Complete HPS fixtures bring components into one fixture; check the package contents. For maintenance, explore HPS bulbs, HPS reflectors and HPS ballasts. A 315W CMH bulb uses a different technology from HPS and needs its own suitable equipment.
To manage lighting hours or several fixtures centrally, start with the control connection supported by the fixture. Allow clearance for cables and heat removal. Disconnect power and let equipment cool before replacing parts. Read our changeover guide when changing lighting technology or explore the DimLux light plan.
