Anti-detection sheeting

Choose anti-detection sheeting in 120 cm wide rolls of 30 or 60 metres. Measure the surfaces you want to line and allow for overlaps, corners and cutting waste. We can help you work out your material needs and choose the right roll length.

30 or 60 metres: start with a lining plan

Both rolls are 120 cm wide. Their length differs: 30 or 60 metres. First decide which surfaces you will line and how you will arrange the strips. A roll can contain enough material on paper without accommodating the lengths you need.

The 30-metre roll contains a calculated 36 m² of sheeting; the 60-metre roll contains 72 m². These figures describe gross material area, rather than grow room floor area. Seams, corners, openings and cutting waste reduce usable coverage.

Choose 30 metres if your planned strips and allowances fit within that length. The 60-metre roll gives you more material for longer runs or several surfaces. A longer roll does not establish a different thickness or stronger performance. Explore our sheeting and tape range when planning a combination of materials.

How much sheeting do you need?

Measure the height and width of each surface. Divide it into strips no more than 1.20 metres wide and work out the length of each strip. Include room for seams, corners and fastening in the layout. Add up the strip lengths, then allow for cutting waste appropriate to your plan.

For example, ten strips measuring 2 metres each require 20 metres of roll length before finishing allowances. An area-only calculation can overlook awkward cutting dimensions. Draw up a simple cutting plan first.

Prepare the surface and finishing details

Clean the surface and check for sharp edges or protruding parts. Fit the sheeting carefully around corners and openings without damaging it. Match fastening and any tape to the material and surface: one tape is not suitable for every type of sheeting.

Plan air inlets, extraction and maintenance access before lining the room. Sheeting does not remove heat or moisture by itself. Explore our climate and ventilation equipment and advice on fan placement and airflow when planning the rest of the room.
