A 120 × 120 cm tent may be 200 or 225 cm tall. Within those dimensions you need space for pots, trays, plants, your light and its hangers. Leave access for watering, equipment checks and replacing a filter. Under a sloping roof, measure the lowest height across the entire planned footprint.
A square tent offers a straightforward layout. A rectangular version needs a different distribution of light and air. Decide which sides will remain accessible. Compare Mammoth models and OCR tents using their exact dimensions; model names are not a universal sizing system.
Choose lighting that physically fits and account for its hanging height. Assess extraction fans, carbon filters and ducting as one air path. Bends, filters and ducts add resistance. A theoretical air-change calculation alone cannot prove that the installation moves enough air.
A standalone tent lets you reuse equipment. With a complete kit, check the parts list and any additional items you need. Use our sizing guide to assess your space and our complete tent buying checklist to review the contents.
