How to choose a carbon filter for your grow tent
Start with operating airflow. Match the filter to the air your extractor moves through the complete setup. Use the practical filter capacity as your starting point; a technical maximum is not a recommended continuous setting.
Check the connection separately. Body diameter and flange size describe different measurements. The CAN-Lite 600 body is 20 cm wide and 47.5 cm long. This does not automatically mean it needs 200 mm ducting. Check the selected flange and whether it is included.
Measure before ordering. Allow room for duct bends, suspension and installation. CAN-Lite 800 is shorter and wider than the 600. A higher airflow rating does not necessarily mean a longer filter.

CAN, Wilco or Heavy Carbo?
Compare airflow capacity, connections and installation space first. CAN-Lite and CAN Original are separate ranges, so check the exact model. Wilco offers standard air filters and inline versions. Heavy Carbo HK50 and HK100 are also listed in the range. A model name alone does not establish performance or flange size.
Installation and maintenance
Make sure extracted air passes through the filter and check connections for leaks. Use suspension suitable for the filter weight. Keep ducting runs straightforward and inspect the prefilter regularly. Follow the instructions for your model for airflow direction, mounting and maintenance.
