Polyethylene (PE) pipe carries water through your irrigation system. Start with the diameter of your existing installation. Our range includes 16 mm HDPE pipe sold per metre, 25 mm ZPE pipe sold per metre and a 100 metre coil of 25 mm ZPE pipe. Buying by the metre is practical for a short extension; a full coil suits a longer pipe run.
Choose the diameter for the required flow, pipe length and available pressure. Add up the water demand of the drippers or sprinklers operating at the same time. A larger pipe can reduce pressure loss at the same flow, but elevation changes, bends and branches also affect the choice. Plant count alone does not determine the right pipe diameter.
At each connection, check both the pipe size in millimetres and the fitting type. A 25 mm pipe connection and a ¾-inch thread describe different ends of an adaptor. They are separate specifications and cannot be substituted for each other.

A straight coupling joins two pipe sections. A tee creates a branch, an elbow changes direction and an end cap closes a pipe. A pump, filter or valve with a threaded port needs a suitable adaptor. The range includes 16 and 25 mm fittings with ½- and ¾-inch male or female threads, plus 25 mm versions with a 1-inch female thread.
Before ordering, write down each connection: pipe diameter, straight joint or branch, thread size and male or female thread. Choose the fitting specified for the actual component. A shared diameter or brand alone does not confirm compatibility.
Map the pipe route from the water source to the outlets. Include valves, branches and an accessible point for inspection. Match filtration to your water quality and the requirements of the connected drippers or sprinklers. The PE Y-filter in this category has a removable inner filter; the required filtration grade must suit your system.
Use a clean, square pipe end and follow the installation method for the selected fitting. Avoid sharp kinks in the pipe run. Flush debris from the pipe before connecting sensitive outlets and check every joint for leaks at the intended operating pressure. Check the pressure rating of every component; the pipe rating alone does not determine the capacity of the entire system.
Tell us your pipe diameter, run length and the connections on your pump, filter or valve. We help you select the right components.
