Acoustic box fans

A fixed motor is attached to the box. In a suspended version, the motor and fan are suspended independently of the housing. This isolation reduces the transfer of motor vibration to the box. Airflow noise in the duct and outlet needs separate attention.

Compare noise only at the same operating setting and under equivalent measurement conditions. Without comparable dB figures we do not name a quietest model. Both versions need suitable support, clear space and ducting that does not load the connections.

A grow tent carbon filter must suit the airflow, connection and operating conditions. Include filter resistance when selecting your fan. Keep ventilation ducts short and straight and choose suitable flanges and fittings.

Before ordering, check that a climate controller supports the exact motor technology, control method and maximum current. Fixed or suspended mounting does not establish electrical compatibility. Send us the rating plate and planned air path if you need help.
