Inline duct fans for grow tents

Start with the ducting and filter you plan to use. The Can-Fan RK range has several connection sizes. The RK 125 L has a 125 mm connection and a rated airflow of 350 m³/h. Choose it only if both your required airflow and your duct system suit that size.

Want a choice of speeds on the fan itself? Look at the four-speed RK 125 LS, RK 160 S, RK 200 S and RK 250 S. Check how each version selects its speeds before adding a separate controller.

The Iso-Max 250/1480 combines a fan with an insulated silencer housing. It has a 250 mm connection and a rated airflow of 1480 m³/h. Allow space for the longer housing and for bends in the ducting.

A silenced housing does not eliminate every installation noise. Vibration, narrow ducting and turbulent airflow still matter. Choose a suitable capacity and secure the equipment without transmitting vibration directly into the tent frame.

Keep duct runs short and straight where possible and avoid tight bends. Match the fan connection to the ducting and carbon-filter flange. A reducer can connect different sizes, but it cannot increase the capacity of a narrow duct.

Choose a filter whose recommended airflow suits the airflow you intend to use. Follow the airflow arrow on the fan, seal the connections and provide an open path for fresh air into the tent. A circulation fan moves air inside the tent; it does not replace extraction.

AC and EC fans need compatible control methods. The LCD EC controller products in this range are control equipment, not fans. Do not assume they connect directly to an RK model.

Check the motor type, control method and required connections. An Iso-Max setup with LCD EC control also needs the appropriate Satellite interface. Select the complete combination together; a matching brand name alone does not establish compatibility.
