Sprinklers & drippers

Deliver water where your plants need it. Choose spray stakes for a spray pattern or drippers for targeted watering near the root zone. CNL valves, four-way distributors, Topspin manifolds and capillary parts help you build a suitable setup. Check flow rate, operating pressure and connections together.

Spray or drip: choose how to distribute the water

For individual pots, start with the part of the substrate you want to wet. A dripper or capillary tube with a stake delivers water at a selected point. A spray stake distributes it in a spray pattern. Then choose the connection and distributor that suit that arrangement.

The range includes Ray Jet spray stakes, a T-nozzle with a 180° pattern and Insigne greenhouse sprinklers with a 360° pattern. The angle describes the direction of coverage; it does not establish a fixed spray diameter or growing area.

Need several outlets from one connection? The four-way CNL distributor has four tubes and is supplied without a pressure valve. The 12-part Topspin/Maverick distributor is intended for a 25 mm PE pipe connection. These are different systems: choose by connection and required outlets as well as the number of pots.

Choose 4 or 8 l/h to suit your run time

The 4 l/h CNL valve needs a longer run time for the same measured water volume than the 8 l/h CNL valve. If your installed valve actually delivers 4 l/h, a total dose of 0.5 litres takes 7.5 minutes. At a measured 8 l/h, it takes 3.75 minutes. This calculation applies to the valve and is not a watering recommendation per plant.

Choose the flow rate together with your timer settings and check that the substrate absorbs the water. With a multi-outlet distributor, measure each outlet separately before setting the run time.

Valve flow is not the dose per plant

A multi-outlet distributor divides the flow from one valve between several tubes. Do not apply the nominal valve rating to every outlet or plant. Check the assembled distribution with separate collection cups over equal measuring periods. An opening pressure of 1.2 bar is not a complete operating range or a sufficient basis for pump selection.

Capillary flow depends on conditions including tube length and pressure. A 120 cm capillary with a nominal 2 l/h rating does not deliver that amount under every condition. A measurement at 1 metre and 0.5 atmosphere cannot be applied directly to a different tube length. Measure your installed tube before setting a watering time.

Questions about sprinklers and drippers

Help with your irrigation setup?

Tell us your pipe size, available pressure and required number of outlets. We can help you choose suitable components.

  • Pipe size and connections

  • Available pressure with irrigation running

  • Number of outlets and required water distribution

Choose your irrigation component

Check each connection separately

Tube size, punch size and connector size describe different connection points. The loose 3.2 mm tube is a different component from a 25 mm supply pipe. The BE stake is intended for capillary tubing; the Ray Jet spray stake has its own available tube with an elbow. Check each connection before combining components.

Assess pressure and filtration together

A high pump capacity in litres per hour does not prove that enough pressure remains at the final outlet. Pipe length, elevation, connectors and filter resistance affect the setup. Check pressure during operation and match filtration to the exact component. Avoid one universal run time for every pot.
