Drippers

Choose drippers, capillary tubing and stakes to suit your irrigation system. We help you distinguish between carrying water, controlling its flow and keeping the drip point in place. Check the tube size and measure the delivered volume after installation.

Which tube do you need?

Replacing a part? Check the tube type and existing connection first. Diameter alone does not tell you the flow rate.

  • 120 cm capillary tube, 2 l/h is 120 cm long and measures 0.8 × 3.2 mm. Its 2 l/h rating is nominal; actual delivery also depends on pressure and tube length.
  • 3.2 mm tube, 100 cm is 100 cm long. No fixed flow rate in litres per hour is specified for this tube. Do not choose it solely because the outside diameter matches.

Which stake suits your system?

A stake positions the water outlet in the pot. Choose by connection type and how it guides the drip.

  • The BE stake is an open T-stake for capillary tubing. You can see each drop fall.
  • The straight capillary stake guides water along the straight stake. Its tube inlet has a threaded connection.
  • The blue CNL stake is intended for CNL tubing. Check the tube and connection before ordering.

How to choose the right dripper

Start with the part you need: tubing to carry water, capillary tubing that helps determine the flow, or a stake to guide the drip. A separate stake is only one part of an irrigation system.

  1. Check the connection. Note the tube type, inside and outside diameter and existing stake. The BE and straight capillary stakes are intended for 2 and 4 litre capillary tubing.
  2. Keep the setup consistent. Changes in capillary length and pressure can change the delivered volume. Measure again whenever you change the length.
  3. Measure the actual output. Collect water from each outlet for the same length of time. Include an outlet at the end of the line, then adjust the run time.
