PE pipe fittings

Join, branch or close your irrigation pipe with the right PE fitting. Choose 16 or 25 mm couplings, elbows, tees, end caps and threaded adaptors. We help you match the pipe size, thread and connection method to your water supply.

Choose the size, then the fitting function

Start with the size marked on your PE pipe. A 16 mm fitting and a 25 mm fitting are different versions. Check the pipe type and connection method as well: a matching size does not make an Easy PE component interchangeable with another fitting.

  • Join a straight run: a coupling joins two pipe sections with the same connection size.
  • Add a branch: a tee divides the route. Choose three pipe connections or a version with a threaded branch.
  • Change direction: an elbow turns the pipe route.
  • Close or control: an end cap closes the pipe end; choose a valve when you need to operate the water supply.

For a pump, filter or valve with a threaded port, select an adaptor. Record the two ends separately, such as 25 mm pipe × ¾-inch male thread. Check male or female thread and the thread standard on the mating part as well as the thread size.

Keep the pipe and seal clean during assembly

Cut the pipe square and inspect the end for damage or distortion. Remove debris and burrs without damaging the pipe. Keep seals and the inside of the fitting clean. Follow the assembly method and insertion depth for the chosen fitting; one method does not apply to every connector.

In a compression fitting, the internal seal and gripping components form the connection. Do not put thread sealant on the compression nut to compensate for a poor fit. Assess a threaded adaptor separately and use a sealing method suited to its thread and components.

Check the complete water supply

Match the pipe, fittings, valves and filtration to the operating pressure and water temperature. A 25 mm size does not establish a pressure rating. Distinguish between standard PE fittings and Easy PE versions; colour or price alone is not a selection rule.

Flush the pipe before connecting drippers and inspect every joint at the intended operating pressure. If a joint leaks, depressurise the system and check size, insertion, pipe condition and seal. The Y-filter in this range has a removable element. Match filtration grade to your outlets; a matching thread alone does not establish suitability.
