Choose your sensor setup, then your controller

Want to measure CO2 without choosing a separate sensor? The Techgrow T-Mini with built-in sensor combines CO2 measurement with temperature and relative humidity readings. Its built-in light sensor detects day and night. The controller itself sits at the measuring location.

Want to position the controller away from the measuring point? Choose a system with an external sensor. The Techgrow T-Micro without sensor needs a compatible CO2 sensor purchased separately. Include it in your purchase and check the connection before ordering.

The 300–2000 ppm setpoint range tells you which target values the controller offers. It is not a recommendation to run at 2000 ppm. Choose your setting to suit your crop, lighting, ventilation and the instructions for your installation.

Choosing a separate CO2 sensor

The Techgrow S-2 CO2 sensor measures CO2 and light and has no display of its own. It needs a suitable controller. Check the exact sensor model, measuring range and controller connection. A separate sensor is not a complete standalone meter.

Already using a Dimlux control system? Compare the Dimlux CO2 sensor with 5 metre cable and the 10 metre cable version. Measure the cable route and allow room for mounting. Also check the exact controller generation and sensor version; cable length alone does not establish compatibility.

Positioning, calibration and control

Choose a measuring point that represents conditions in the room. Avoid measuring right beside the CO2 outlet, your exhaled breath or a strong local draught. Follow the mounting instructions for your sensor and let it warm up before assessing readings.

Use the calibration procedure for your exact device. Do not calibrate while breathing close to the sensor. Check the readings again after moving the sensor or changing the setup. A controller operates a compatible CO2 source; a meter does not produce CO2 itself.
