180° or 360°: choose the spray direction

Which irrigation sprinkler suits your setup?

Start with the area you want to wet. A spray stake for a pot setup serves a different purpose from a nozzle on a PVC line. The Ray Jet spray stake is sold separately from the Ray Jet tube with elbow. Check which parts you already have before ordering.

The 180° T-nozzle directs water over a half circle. The 360° Insigne greenhouse sprinkler sprays all around. Choose 180° when you want to direct water to one side, and 360° when watering around the nozzle suits its position. The angle does not establish a fixed spray diameter or maximum growing area.

This category also includes supply tubes, capillary components and CNL valves. These deliver or distribute water differently from a spray nozzle. Choose each part by its connection and function; an individual component is not necessarily a complete sprinkler system.

Check pressure and water distribution together

Measure available pressure while irrigation is running. The pump rating alone does not tell you the pressure at the last sprinkler. Pipe length, height differences and the number of open outlets all matter. Test with clean water to check where the spray lands and whether each pot receives the intended amount.

Before mixing components with different flow rates in one watering zone, check whether their pressure requirements and output suit the same run time. For targeted watering near the root zone, consider drippers and capillary components.

Choose tubes, stakes and valves separately

The 3.2 mm, 100 cm tube is a different component from a PVC mainline. The BE stake and straight capillary stake are intended for capillary tubing; the blue basket stake is intended for CNL tubing. Check the exact tube size and connection before combining parts.

The four-way CNL distributor is supplied without a pressure valve. The 4 and 8 l/h CNL valves have an opening pressure of 1.2 bar. This is not a full operating pressure range and does not automatically apply to other sprinklers. These valves specify 100 µm or 0.1 mm filtration. Measure the flow at each outlet after assembly.
