Can Original carbon filters

Choose Can Original for odour control in your grow tent or grow room extraction system. Compare the 33 cm version rated at 350 m³/h with the 50 and 66 cm versions rated at 700 m³/h. We help you match airflow capacity, installation space and flange to your extractor.

Which Can Original filter suits your extractor?

Start with the airflow your extraction system needs to handle with all components connected. The 33 cm version has a stated filter capacity of 350 m³/h. For 700 m³/h, choose between the 50 cm and 66 cm versions. The longer version therefore does not have a higher stated airflow rating in this range.

Next, check the available space. Allow room for the housing, support, flange and a duct connection without a sharp bend. The 33, 50 and 66 cm measurements refer to filter length; they are not duct diameters.

Tell us your inline fan model and operating setting, duct size and available installation space. We can help you choose a suitable version and connection.

Choose the filter, extractor and flange together

Activated carbon adsorbs odour-producing substances from the air passing through the filter. The extractor moves that air. Match the filter capacity to the operating fan setting and assess the complete duct run: filter, ducting, bends and fittings all add resistance.

Check the exact flange size and supplied parts for your version before ordering. Do not establish the connection size from a product image. Choose suitable ventilation ducting and check mounting and fit when selecting ventilation flanges. Support the filter separately and secure the joint with a suitable duct clamp and seal.

Check maintenance access and odour control

Keep the prefilter accessible. Inspect it for dust and dirt and replace a dirty or damaged sleeve with a suitable version. Leave enough room to replace the carbon filter later as well.

If you notice odours, first check airflow, loose joints, leaks and the prefilter condition. Humidity and use affect performance. If the system is working correctly but odour control keeps declining, assess whether the carbon is saturated. We do not apply one fixed lifespan to every installation.
