Air distribution ducting releases supply air through round holes along its length. Use it to distribute air along a planned route in your grow room. These ducts use 180 µm antistatic transparent film, with outlet holes across a 120° section. Aim the perforated side towards the area where you want to distribute the air.
Choose the diameter to suit your connection and required airflow. Select the length together with the airflow: a longer duct has more outlet holes. The largest diameter or shortest length will not automatically be the best option. Give us your fan or climate unit details and planned layout for advice on choosing the right combination.
Decide where supply air enters and where it needs to be released. Support the duct along its route, keep the air passage open and avoid kinks. Keep outlet holes clear of walls, plants and suspension hardware.
Check the fit on the flange or connection. Secure and seal the joint with suitable installation materials. Support the duct so its weight does not pull on one connection. Run the system and check distribution along the full length.
The length of a perforated duct helps determine the number of available outlet holes. Do not shorten it or add holes without reassessing the distribution. Either change affects the outlets and resistance in the duct run.
For a closed air path between a fan, filter and outlet, choose suitable Combi Connect or Sono Connect ducting. With a climate unit, check its required outlet size and air path before choosing a reducer or distribution duct.
