For a nutrient reservoir, the useful figure is the water you can actually draw from it. The water level must stay above the pump’s minimum operating level, and a system with returning water needs spare capacity when it drains back. Nominal tank volume and usable supply are different figures.
Our range covers 65 to 750 litres. A 65-litre rectangular water tank and a 160-litre collapsible tank need different layouts. Measure floor space, height and access, then check that your pump and cleaning tools fit through the opening.
Use our water tank sizing calculation to establish the supply you need. Then compare collapsible and rigid tanks for day-to-day use and storage.

Plan the tank, water pump and sprayers or drippers together. The tank provides storage; the pump and lines deliver water to your plants. Size your supply using measured water withdrawal. In a recirculating system, use net consumption rather than the total volume passing through the pump.
Start with a known volume of water and mix each addition thoroughly. Check the solution with suitable pH and EC meters. EC describes overall electrical conductivity and does not identify the amount of each nutrient. Keep the opening, tap and pump accessible and plan for cleaning your nutrient reservoir.
Tell us your daily water use, refill interval and available space. We can help you choose a tank, pump and suitable connections.

Size your reservoir with measured consumption and a realistic refill interval. Allow for minimum pump level and returning water.
