Mixing Canna Coco A&B: order, ratio and final checks
Canna Coco A&B has two components that form one base feed together. Use equal amounts and dilute them separately in water. A consistent mixing routine helps prevent common mistakes.

A and B belong together
CANNA Coco A&B is base nutrition for coco during growth and flowering. The two bottles divide the ingredients between two concentrates. They do not divide the crop cycle into stages: A is not a separate growth feed and B is not a flowering feed. Using only one component does not provide the intended combination.
Keeping the concentrates separate helps prevent concentrated ingredients, including calcium and phosphate, from reacting and precipitating. Add both parts separately to plenty of water. Pouring two capfuls of concentrate together in a small measuring cup first is not an appropriate intermediate step.
Use a consistent mixing order
Measure the required water into a clean reservoir and check your source water.
Shake the bottles. Measure the chosen amount of A and add it to the water.
Stir well to distribute A through the solution.
Measure an equal amount of B and add it to the water.
Stir thoroughly again and allow the solution to stabilise before the final checks.
Use a clean measuring jug and avoid carrying concentrate from one bottle into the other. If you use supplements, account for their own mixing order and formulation. Different additives do not all enter the mix at the same point. A and B always remain separate mixing steps in water.
Calculate each part separately
Suppose the appropriate dose for your situation is 2 ml A and 2 ml B per litre. For 4 litres of water, use 8 ml A and 8 ml B: 16 ml overall, divided into two equal components. This is a calculation example, not a universal dose recommendation. Check the dose selected in your own Canna feeding schedule.
If you adjust nutrient strength, keep A and B equal. Do not use B as a standalone flowering booster. Coco A&B remains the base during flowering too; CANNABOOST and PK 13/14 have separate, targeted functions.
Measure after mixing
Check the complete solution with suitable pH and EC meters. The EC of your source water contributes to the overall nutrient strength. Assess pH separately and adjust only once the nutrients are fully distributed. Check your meters with appropriate calibration solutions.
Prepare fresh solution in a clean tank. If unexpected flakes or precipitate appear, do not try to repair the mix with more concentrate. Check the water, dose and mixing sequence and start again with a clean reservoir. Our guide to cleaning a nutrient reservoir helps limit residues from previous batches.
