CANNABOOST and PK 13/14: what is the difference?

CANNABOOST and PK 13/14 are different supplements for the flowering stage. One is a flowering stimulator; the other supplies phosphorus and potassium. We explain their roles and how to keep your feeding programme coherent.

CANNABOOST Accelerator and CANNA PK 13/14

Two flowering products with different roles

CANNABOOST Accelerator is a flowering stimulator used alongside regular plant nutrients. CANNA PK 13/14 is a targeted phosphorus and potassium supplement. These are not two names for the same type of product. CANNABOOST does not replace PK 13/14, and PK 13/14 does not replace a complete base feed.

Do not start by asking which bottle is the strongest booster. Establish which base nutrients your plants receive and which function you want to supplement. A suitable programme should remain understandable despite confusing product terminology.

Terra Flores or Coco A&B remains the base

In soil, use Terra Flores as the flowering base once flowering begins. In coco, continue using Coco A&B: both components together and in equal amounts. Supplements are coordinated with that base; they do not take over the supply of all other essential nutrients.

Check watering and the condition of the medium before adding products. A plant in constantly wet soil does not benefit from an arbitrary increase in feed strength. Our Canna feeding schedule guide helps you establish the appropriate base and plant stage first.

Use PK 13/14 in a targeted window

PK 13/14 belongs in a limited application window within the appropriate flowering schedule, rather than automatically in every watering throughout flowering. Match the timing to flower and fruit development and the programme for your nutrient line. One fixed calendar week cannot suit every plant or flowering duration.

Additional phosphorus and potassium affect the composition and strength of the solution. Check the final EC and pH after adding them. Do not raise the base feed, PK and several other supplements at once without checking the finished mixture.

Keep your mixing routine measurable

  • Measure every product separately and never mix concentrates directly together.

  • Do not use CANNABOOST at the same time as hydrogen peroxide products.

  • Calculate quantities from the volume of water you actually prepare.

  • Check the finished solution with working pH and EC meters.

For coco, our A&B mixing guide helps you prepare the base consistently. Then compare Canna nutrients and supplements by function and bottle size. Choose according to your routine and consumption, and keep a record of the doses you use.
