Aptus Regulator: dosage and correct mixing order
Add Regulator to clean water first. Learn how to convert the dose, mix correctly and distinguish Regulator from base nutrients and pH adjustment.

What is Aptus Regulator?
Regulator is a concentrated supplement containing silicon, boron and molybdenum. It supports nutrient uptake and plant structure within a suitable programme. It is not a complete NPK base nutrient and does not replace pH measurement.
Begin with your existing feeding chart. Check whether Regulator is included, what other supplements you use and how much water you actually prepare. Do not add another silicon product without checking the combination.
Dosage: 1.5 ml per 10 litres
Dose Regulator at 1.5 ml per 10 litres of water. This is 0.15 ml per litre. A suitable dosing syringe makes this small quantity easier to measure accurately than a large jug.
10 litres of water: 1.5 ml Regulator.
20 litres of water: 3 ml Regulator.
50 litres of water: 7.5 ml Regulator.
100 litres of water: 15 ml Regulator.
These examples use the same dilution, not different strengths. Calculate from the actual water volume rather than the maximum capacity printed on the reservoir. Follow a different instruction on your label or selected program when it applies to your setup.
Why does Regulator go in first?
Dilute Regulator in a tank of clean water first. Mix until evenly distributed, then add other nutrients and boosters separately. This prevents Regulator from entering an already concentrated nutrient mix.
Measure the water you need.
Measure Regulator with clean, dry equipment.
Add it to the water and mix thoroughly.
Continue with the remaining products in the feeding chart, mixing after each addition.
Check EC and pH at the points specified in the program.
Do not return water or leftover product to the bottle. Keep its opening clean and never combine product concentrates directly in a measuring cup. A consistent process makes the next batch easier to reproduce and avoids contaminating the stock.
Base nutrients and pH checks remain separate
All-in-One Liquid provides mineral base nutrients. Startbooster and Topbooster supplement different development stages. Regulator has another role again. Using one of these products does not automatically remove the remaining steps from your program.
pH and EC describe different properties: acidity and electrical conductivity. Do not change several product doses simultaneously because of a single reading. Record your source water, quantities and checks as directed by your feeding program.
Which bottle size should you choose?
Our Regulator range includes 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 litre and 5 litres. Choose according to actual use. At the stated ratio, a 20-litre batch uses 3 ml; the number of batches determines how quickly you use the bottle.
At 0.15 ml per litre, a 250 ml bottle treats approximately 1,667 litres of nutrient solution. Compare sizes by the number of batches you expect to prepare so that the bottle matches actual consumption.
