A Tumble Trimmer helps remove excess leaves from freshly harvested plant material. Choose a hand crank or an electric drive. We help you compare the two machines and choose cutting wires or flat blades for maintenance.

The first choice is the drive. With the manual Tumble Trimmer, you turn the hand crank yourself. No electrical connection is needed, and you decide when to start and stop. It suits a workspace without power and users who prefer to keep turning by hand.
The electric Tumble Trimmer uses a motor to do the turning. This is convenient for repeated batches when you want to avoid operating the crank. You still need to load, check and empty the machine yourself.
We recommend choosing around operation and your workspace. An electric drive alone does not establish a higher processing capacity. Harvest scissors can be useful alongside the machine for detailed finishing of individual pieces.

| Choice | Manual Tumble Trimmer | Electric Tumble Trimmer |
|---|---|---|
| Drive | Hand crank | Motor |
| Power needed for the drive | No | Yes |
| Operation while trimming | Turn by hand | Let the motor turn |
| Useful when | You want to work without power | You want to avoid repeated cranking |
Plant material moves over a grille. The cutting part underneath removes leaves that protrude through it. This method is intended for freshly harvested material. Do not assume it suits dry material; check the instructions for your version.
Start with a modest amount and check the result as you work. Leaf shape, material condition and adjustment affect the finish. Stop when you reach the result you want. A fixed number of seconds or kilograms per hour is not a useful rule for every situation.
Cutting wires are sold in a set of 20; flat blades come in a set of 5. These are replacement parts, not complete trimming machines. Check your model and the cutting part currently fitted before ordering.
A matching brand name alone does not confirm compatibility with another version. If in doubt, compare the existing part and model details, or ask us for help. Stop the machine and unplug the electric version before opening the lid, cleaning or replacing parts. Follow your machine’s fitting and cleaning instructions.
Tell us which version you have and which part you need. Your model details and a photo of the existing cutting part help us guide your choice.
