Gavita Master controller EL1, Gen 2

Light control at your fingertips! The Master controller EL1 and EL2 Gen2 are our entry-level systems for centrally controlling large rooms with e-series fixtures. The second generation of Master controllers has improved and expanded functionalities that raise the bar:

• Non-volatile memory
• Event log
• Independent sunrise and sunset settings
• Independent light cycles on the EL2.

Improvements EL1, Gen 2

Memory - All main controllers use reliable, non-volatile memory to store user settings.

Logging - All main controllers now have logging functions for high/low temperature, last auto-dimming event, last shutdown event and last power loss, including the date and time of the event

Separate emergence/submission control - Set different periods for emergence and subsidence

Independent cycles on EL2 models - These cycles let you program two different, overlapping cycles (for example, a 12/12 on channel 1 and an 18/6 on channel 2).

Independently Programmable External Contactor Modules (ECMs) - In Gen 2 EL2 controllers, you can now choose whether they turn on or off and which channel they follow. The result? Flexible integration and automation.

Easy The Master Controllers are very easy to set up. The two-line green OLED screen is sharp and easy to read, even in high-light environments, and all menu items are in clear text. The 4-button menu is intuitive. A special fifth button has been added to directly set the output of your fixtures. Red and blue LEDs give you the output status of your controller ports and provide a quick display of any errors. The cabling system is plug-and-play with all necessary cables already included with each e-series fixture. The manual describes how to make custom cables for any length. Different lengths of control cables are available as original Gavita accessories. Please note that the Gen 2 Master controller comes with a 15 V power cable, which differs from the 5 V power cable used with Gen 1 Master controllers. The controller is easy to mount with the included bracket. Two screws are all you need to install it and the controller just clicks in.
