Hy-Pro feeding schedule: choosing and dosing Terra, Coco or Hydro
A Hy-Pro feeding schedule starts with your growing medium. We explain how to choose the right range, read the plant phase and calculate millilitres per litre without confusing base nutrients and supplements.

Choose the schedule for your growing medium
Use the Terra schedule for soil or potting compost, the Coco schedule for coco coir and the Hydro schedule for hydroponics. Your base nutrients determine the range. The three schedules look similar, but the base nutrients, root stimulator and Epic booster each have their own application.
Start with the medium actually in your pot or system. Moving from soil to coco coir means reassessing your nutrient choice. Simply substituting a bottle name is not a sound approach.
Download the schedule for your range
Choose the schedule that matches your base nutrients. Each PDF covers growth and flowering and lists amounts per litre.
Read the product row and plant phase together
Find the row for the product you intend to use and match it to the column for the current growth or flowering phase. Check the unit: millilitres per litre are different from the total amount needed for a reservoir.
Terra, Coco A&B and Hydro A&B are the base nutrients. The matching root stimulator is a supplement. Epic Bloom goes with Terra, Epic Blast with Coco and Epic Boost with Hydro. Flowering boosters belong in the flowering phase; do not automatically add them from the start.
Calculate ml per litre for your actual water volume
Use this calculation: dosage in ml/l × litres of water = product amount in ml. If a product calls for 2.5 ml/l and you prepare 20 litres of water, that means 50 ml of that product. This is a calculation example; select your own dose from the appropriate row and phase.
Calculate for the water you actually use, rather than the maximum capacity of the tank. Measure small amounts accurately with a suitable measuring jug. Calculate each product separately.
Check both components when using A&B
Coco A&B and Hydro A&B contain two components. Read carefully to see whether the dosage is specified for each component. An instruction for A and B must not be treated as one combined amount without checking.
Shake the bottles before use. Measure the components separately and dilute them in water; do not pour undiluted concentrates together. Stir thoroughly between additions and check the finished nutrient solution.
Add supplements for a clear reason
Spraymix is a foliar feed and is applied differently from base nutrients. Keep that application separate. Generator is a concentrated supplement, so a small measuring error matters more. Do not increase a dose by guesswork.
Water quality, growing medium and plant phase affect how you apply a schedule. A general bottle instruction does not replace every phase in a feeding chart. If the label and schedule differ, have your combination checked before adding extra product.
Check before the next watering
Record the products and amounts you used, together with the water volume. You can then assess the same calculation next time and avoid adding a product twice. Keep your mixing equipment and nutrient reservoir clean.
